I actually can’t believe I’m making this. I’ve never found writing stuff fun in my entire life. But now that I’m doing this, it’s not as bad as I thought. This may be my first and maybe final story I’ll ever write for fun, but at least I know how some people feel about writing stories:

They enjoy it.

I’ve never written anything outside of school projects. This is my first writing project done for fun. I think my brain is broken because I’ve never found writing fun. The preview can be found in this post.

DISCLAIMER: This story is not based on knowledge about Pokémon. I’ve never played a Pokémon game in my life. I don’t know anything at all about it. I don’t know the differences between generations or the types of Pokémon or anything like that. I don’t know the personalities of them either. Don’t come after me if I do something wrong that isn’t relevant to Pokémon itself.

Preview

This is a story inspired by Pokémon about Mimikyu, who tries to uncover the mystery of who killed her brother, who was a Pikachu. She meets many others along the way who try to help her. Some of them know some info about what happened. Soon, the mystery is solved. But there’s still other things that come to her mind. “If you’re the best of friends, can you kill them accidentally? I’m not ready for a relationship… how can I trust him? Can people change over past events?” Those questions may be answered… or they may not.

Since I made to the next round, at least it’ll motivate me to actually make something again lol. Also good luck to everyone else who made it through.

Also, on a related note regarding music, I might make an EP at some point… maybe after I know what it really is. It’s an album type thing, I know that, but what makes it different from an album?

What? Who gave me this? I wasn’t expecting this. Whoever did this, thank you. I don’t care if it’s just a month, I’m just glad to finally get what I can’t get myself for once. :D

This means I’m one year closer to death. No wait, that can’t be right.

An unofficial fanmade OST for the game Duet combining the OSTs from the stages “Guilt” in the main story mode and “Trust” in the epilogue mode. (No, the picture is not supposed to be a triple spike)

I challenged myself to see what I could make in a single hour. And even though, it’s not as good I wanted it to be, it still came out better than I had hoped. This was also inspired a little bit by Expedition by Hyper Potions and Nokae. I hope you enjoy this.

Here we are. Two years on this site. I can’t believe it.

2020 is when I first joined. I had no idea what to expect. I’ve heard of Newgrounds from Geometry Dash since 2017, but I’ve never actually gone to look around the site. Three years later, I end up here making one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I didn’t feel like I was a part of the community though.

I think one of the best moments I had was when @TaintedLogic DM’d me a message talking about a music contest, NGUAC. Now I was only on the site for like five days at the time so I still had a lot of looking around to do. During those five days, I was already scouted. Had no idea what that meant before. But anyway, NGUAC was probably one of the greatest experiences I’ve had in my life, and I’ve done it for two years now. I still have yet to make it to the final round but we’ll leave that for another year, maybe this one if I’m lucky. If I’m honest, without Tainted sending me that message, I don’t think I would’ve ever found out that there were contests here.

After a few months of staying on NG though, I left the site and I didn’t come back until June 2021. That’s when I coincidentally uploaded my first song of 2021 on my 1-year anniversary of this account.

I also joined the NG Audio Discord server where I met a lot of amazing musicians. They gave me feedback on my music which I’m very grateful for. I thank everyone who did give me feedback, especially @Troisnyx for that point on the piano on my song Storm. I’m going to be trying to do that a lot more when I use piano in my songs.

Later that year, and I didn’t know this until someone else warned me (more than once too), all my 2020 songs contained GarageBand Apple Loops, meaning I used leads, bass, drums, and chords that were all from the app itself and not ones that I came up with on my own (except for two which are still on my account because they aren’t GarageBand). @ADR3-N was the first person to tell me about this via DMs. So I deleted all of those songs in order to not raise any more suspicion that I use Apple Loops in my songs.

In 2021, I started not using Apple Loops (except for SFX), which was a very good decision. I’ve seen people get audio banned for using Apple Loops and other stuff like Groovepad and all that, so I didn’t want to keep going that route and get the risk of getting banned from the audio portal.

On July 1 of 2021, I officially got whitelisted for Geometry Dash which was my main goal for being on Newgrounds. I was so happy that day because I could finally use my own music in GD. My friend @Jordi6304 helped me with that and I’m still grateful for him helping me get whitelisted.

I kept uploading music all throughout 2021 and into 2022 which leads to where we are today. I’ve met so many amazing people both here and on the audio Discord. I’m very grateful to be here and I hope to keep making everyone happy with my music. I know I’m not the best at producing music, but I hope to keep getting better as time goes on.

The hate on Autism needs to stop. Stop using Autism as an insult because you don’t know how many people are offended by you when you do. As an Autistic person myself, I can feel for everyone when they see someone use Autism as a way to insult someone, even if they may not see it as one personally. I don’t want this to keep going anymore. I know it may not stop completely, but if you do it, you can at least stop.
